Since 1969, Capital Bedding has supplied durable, contract‑grade mattresses to universities, public housing authorities, behavioral health facilities, and government agencies. Building on that long‑standing institutional foundation, we are expanding our capabilities with a dedicated Institutional Division and three structured product programs designed to help procurement teams quickly identify the right solution for their environment.

Campus Rest — Student Housing Durability

Campus Rest is engineered for the demands of university residence halls: high turnover, heavy use, and multi‑year occupancy cycles. These mattresses are built around durability, foam performance, and long‑term value for housing operations.

Sentinel — Behavioral Health & Transitional Housing   Sentinel supports facilities that require enhanced durability, sanitation, and safety considerations. These products are designed for behavioral health, group homes, and transitional housing environments where reinforced construction and compliance are essential.

Safemax — Public Housing & High‑Turnover Units   Safemax provides PHAs with durable, budget‑aligned options built for frequent turnover and long service life. These mattresses balance cost efficiency with the performance standards public housing authorities expect.

Why We Built These Programs   Institutional buyers need clarity, consistency, and documentation. By organizing our products into defined programs, we make it easier for procurement teams to compare specifications, understand compliance requirements, and select the right construction for their facility type.

The Vault is a convenient resource to access compliance documentation including fire code certifications, insurance certifications and regional freight maps.

All three programs are manufactured in Mississippi, giving our institutional customers strong freight advantages and responsive lead times across the Southeast. This rollout is part of a broader update to our website and resources as we continue to expand our institutional footprint.
